Chicken man and the bad eggs (CMATBE) – unleash a brand new single “Indian Pale Fale” – it’s an irreverent side swipe at real ale lovers. The track opens with a 100mph razor sharp piercing guitar riff, like a whirling dervish, let loose in the speakers, thumping drumbeat, and a masterful raging vocal, that’s spits, snarls but never degenerates, always intelligent, observational, witty, and decipherable. It’s that fine balance in Rawkuss loud music, make the noise, don’t become just a noise. A 21st century punk melee, that fuses elements of the MC5, early Damned, even the Dead Kennedys and mixes them with the bands own unique attitude and style. It’s a refreshing and massive tune and we made it the A1M records Single of the week.

About the Band –
CHICKEN MAN & THE BAD EGGS are a new wave punk rock quintet from St Helens, Merseyside. Formed in 2019, the band bring a new unique sound to the surface of the industry. With many cross- over influences deriving from punk, metal, and indie rock, CMATBE’s message is simple “We are a voice for the people. And do yourself a favour, don’t take life too seriously”. Considering the short space of time, the band have been together, they resoundingly leave their mark with whoever they encounter on the live music scene.
FIVE-piece indie rock and punk band The Chicken Man and the Bad Eggs are taking their hometown of Widnes and the Northwest by storm in their first year. Singer Ryan Morris 24, lead guitarist Luke Hankinson, 21, rhythm guitarist Tasha Clough, 24, bassist Liam Shrives 24, and drummer Nathan Edge, 24, are St Helens born and bred and are looking to deliver enthralling new music which backs it up their obscure name.
